The Thurgau Youth Orchestra, founded in 1965 as a string orchestra, is now an integral part of Eastern Switzerland’s cultural life as a symphony orchestra. To ensure musical quality and foster even closer ties between its members, the 60-year-old Thurgau Youth Orchestra operates its own Chamber Music Academy.
