Great success by the public and critics with the Jugendorchester Thurgau on the concert tour in September, performing in the cities of Weinfelden, Wil and Romanshorn. E. Elgar’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra with Chiara Enderle Samatanga and A. Dvorak’s Symphony No. 7 were performed.
Critic:
“Expressive sound body“
“The Thurgau Youth Orchestra, together with soloist Chiara Enderle Samatanga, performed Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor on Sunday, September 15, in the Protestant church in Romanshorn.”
“Great emotions, melancholy and patriotism in the works of two great composers: With the Cello Concerto in E minor by Edward Elgar and the 7th Symphony by Antonin Dvořák, the Thurgau Youth Orchestra has chosen two emotionally touching works of the Romantic era for its autumn concert.
Under the direction of Gabriel Estarellas Pascual, the musicians took the audience on a journey into turbulent times at the turn of the 20th century.” LINK SEEBLICK
